SOUS LE SILENCE GRONDE LE MONDE

Après des enfances difficiles et dans une situation de rupture familiale, six adolescentes essaient de se reconstruire dans un lieu de vie, « La Promesse » : une maison provençale, chaleureuse et vivante, habitée au quotidien par sa directrice, Padma.
Durant près de deux années, le film est attentif à leur parole, à leurs silences, aux crises comme aux instants de grâce, dans l’intimité autant que dans la vie collective.
Elles s’appellent Kim, Nadji, ou encore Hana. C’est sur elle, plus particulièrement, que la caméra se focalise : Hana, qui approche de ses 18 ans et devra bientôt quitter la maison.
Cette vie communautaire peut-elle donner à ces jeunes filles un début de stabilité et l’énergie pour s’en sortir ? Parviendront-elles à vaincre leurs démons intérieurs ? Comment entrevoir l’avenir alors que le présent est si fragile ?
